County Med was established to help bridge the gap in health care. We are committed to bringing quality care to the residents of Nottoway County, Lunenburg County, Amelia County, Prince Edward County and other surrounding areas.

Insurance

We are enrolled with various insurance companies. Please check with your insurer to confirm if we are an in-network provider. If we are not affiliated with your insurer and you wish to become a patient, please contact our office. We may be able to work towards becoming an in-network provider but this can take up to 12 weeks to complete.

Shantel Latta, FNP

Shantel graduated from Maryville University of St. Louis in Dec 2020 with a Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration for Family Nurse Practitioner. She also has 8 years of nursing experience in various settings that have provided a strong foundation for her practice as a compassionate and competent health care provider.
